Return to Elfin lakes ...after the crash with help from Robin

I haven't been to Elfin lakes since I crashed the truck when slipping on ice and putting us  over a cliff at least a 100 ft down .Trapped in the truck rescued by hikers helping me smash the window to get the kids and I out of a up side down truck ! Sonia and hiromi jumping out of the truck while flipping down the cliff . I  nearly killed  my son , Loni , Sonia, and Hiromi.
I know people tell me its not my fault but the truth is ...It was !
I was the driver and I never had the right tires and chains LESSON LEARNED .
Even the thought of snow on the road haunts me . I replay that day in my head all the time .
I knew the only way I could start to get over this was to return to Efins Lake and drive that road .
It was robins 40th birthday and I asked him if he could have his birthday there . We had never back packed together , it was his 40th ,and my fear factor so it just seemed perfect . June 29th we were off the Elfins the weather wasn't nice at all , and it was raining I tried to talk everyone out of going but everyone still was willing to go . I was so scared !
Even though it was raining the roads were clear I was so thankful  .
We started our hike in the rain but by time we got to the heather hut had lunch made a fire we were dry warm and the weather cleared . We arrived at Elfin in about 5 hrs . I loved hiking with robin . I always dreamed of doing a hike with him . 
The night was perfect , Playing board games and drinking so many laughs , because I Robin I am closer to getting over the crash  . love and support is what make Robin and I perfect for each other   !
