Mom and Dad

I love you Mom and Dad !
Something that I don't say nearly enough but think about them every day .
I don't think they realize how much I look up to them as people and as parents . They have always taught me to be fair . Help people when I can ....and never hurt the hand that feeds you  ! As a kid I never knew what my dad meant by that but as I grow older I know now .   Its just means to do the best that you can in the most honest way . Feel proud , and help others around you . Take time to ask how people are and listen .
My parents have always stood by and encouraged me to fill my dreams in sports or work .
They have always been amazed that I can run or bike so far , but my strenght comes from them !!
My mom has always been a perfectionist at everything she puts her full heart into everything she does . Even with a foot injury she did some of the hardest climbs with me ....Chief , and the grand canyon . Metal plates in her foot and a metal toe ,but she never thought twice about taking on a adventure at 52 years old .
My dad has always been a planner and I don't think he really realizes  it but I think that's where I get all my adventure planning from. He use to always plan  fishing derbies, he would  make  trophies for all his friends . I know that Dad and I plan  these  trips just to  try and   keep everyone together and have something to look back at. My dad has one of the biggest heart I know! He always just wants everyone to be happy ...but we are because we know he  will always be there to take care of us . Even if its as silly as to talk to me on the phone on my way to work in bad weather . I felt so much safer just having him guide me through it . Its true a father is every little girls hero .

Mom and dad  born on the same day , one year a part   , together since kids .....sol mates
 Two of the most caring people I know .

The best part of having these two as my parents is Chandler gets them for grand parents !
