I love Lucy !

I can t believe that May21 Lucy will be 2 years old !!!!
Weekend long runs in the north shore are so much more fun now that I have Lucy . I think the group that I have been running with root and rocks my face book trail running group loves her also . I am not a trail leader for mountain madness anymore because they don't allow her to come , so I run alone with Lucy or see everyone on days they aren't running in the clinic .I find I dont do every race out there anymore either because I cant bring Lucy , so I decided that I will do the ones I really want to do and then the rest will be dog friendly races . The truth is when I am running with out her its just not fun . She is my best friend and I love to be with her as much as I can .
Lucy is now able to run for about 4 hours and her longest run is about 30km . The whistle commands that I have been training her on and working so hard with have totally paid off when running in a group . She is never in any ones way and always comes back when called . What I love most is how she always will wait for me ....even if the group gets away Lucy will always stay to make sure I am fine . Lucy is my best friend I love her with all my heart !
That's why I know she will make a perfect race partner . This Sept 21 /13 will be her first race with me Frosty Mountain in Manning park 27 km .....wish her luck !
